Premier League talking points from a busy weekend

The Premier League was well and truly and back this weekend Manchester City and Manchester United both won, Lukaku scored again and Tottenham's winning run came to a sudden halt against Crystal Palace. Manchester City picked up their third straight win after battling to win against Leicester City Bernardo Silva scored for City in the 62nd minute. Jamie Vardy had previously had a goal ruled out through VAR. Tottenham maintained their 100% start to the season against Watford. The win means Spurs will top the table going into September's international break. Watford are 12th. The second weekend of the Premier League season is almost here. There could be even more goals this weekend.  Let's have a quick look at where they might come from. Can Manchester City recover from their poor start? City followed up their defeat in the Community Shield with a 1-0 defeat away at Tottenham. The UEFA Europa Conference League is an upcoming football club competition run by UEFA for eligible European football teams. The competition will start at the beginning of the 2021/2022 season; it will primarily be contested by teams from the lower-ranked UEFA member associations. The association ranking based on the UEFA country coefficients is used to determine the number of participating teams in the league path for each association: Nations ranked 1 to 5 will have one team.
