Premier League Weekend Preview

The second weekend of the Premier League season is almost here. There could be even more goals this weekend. 

Let's have a quick look at where they might come from.

Can Manchester City recover from their poor start?

City followed up their defeat in the Community Shield with a 1-0 defeat away at Tottenham. Will a return to the Etihad Stadium and their biggest crowd since March 2020 see City recover from that poor start?

Can Manchester United, Liverpool and Chelsea make it two wins from two?

Three of the teams looking to take City's crown will all be hoping to make it two wins from two. Liverpool face Burnley, Chelsea play Arsenal and Manchester United travel to Southampton. Check out the Premier League website and some of the tweets below for all the latest news.

Can the Brentford bandwagon continue?

Everyone was impressed with Brentford's win and performance against Arsenal. Can they follow up with a second win? Most of their fans will he happy with safety from relegation this season and a second win would mean they are only 34 points from safely.

Harry Kane's Tottenham

The situation involving Man City, Harry Kane and Tottenham has been the transfer saga of the summer so far. The situation with the player is still to be resolved but Spurs travel to Wolves and hope to pick up their second win of the season. Their recent defeat in the Europa Conference League has proven that they almost certainly need to strengthen their squad.

Just the 18 goals as Spain and Switzerland progressed to the next round of Euro 2020 Spain 5 - 3 Croatia Spain qualified for the next round of Euro 2020 in dramatic fashion after beating Croatia in extra time.
