Illegal vehicles are being away from West Midlands roads

The local police force are taking lots of uninsured, illegal vehicles off the streets of the West Midlands. To help with this they have been using a very important piece of police kit – the Copper’s Nose! Last week one of their Response Units spoke about how they’d stopped a car while on patrol and later found the driver was allegedly on the roads while disqualified. The 21-year-old was arrested, charged and the car seized. They put the arrest down to their “Copper’s Nose” telling them something wasn’t quite right when they spotted the car by Merry Hill shopping centre on the afternoon of 9 June. #ARRESTS | We’re taking lots of illegal vehicles off the streets & catching crooks thanks to an important piece of police kit – the Copper’s Nose! Officers say a Copper's Nose is an instinct something's not quite right.
