Celtic impress in Europa League win

Celtic's recent great form continued as they took a huge step towards the next stage of Europa League  after a pulsating victory against AZ Alkmaar.

You can see all the highlights in the video below.

Kyogo Furuhashi scored from Tom Rogic's fantastic cross to open the scoring in the first half and make it six goals in six games since signing for Celtic.

In the second half. Kyogo teed up James Forrest, whose deflected effort reached the back of the net.

The fantastic football on show brought about a great atmosphere from the Celtic fans. They will be hoping to comfortably secure their passage to the Group Stage in the next round.

The Celtic manager told a variety of media outlets at full time:

"I thought it was a cracking game. They took it to us at times, we had to work hard and show resilience, but the pleasing thing for me was we didn't yield or change our approach.

"We were still trying to be brave and even the times it didn't work out, we just got back on the horse and went again. Our reward for that was getting the two goals."

One Celtic fan on YouTube said: "Joe Hart doesn't get enough praise, he is top shelf form at the moment"

Another added: "Absolutely brillaint going forward. Ralston has been awesome, but can't wait for Jullien to be back. Might be able to sort out the backline a bit."

Next up for Celtic

Celtic are back in action on Saturday with a home game against St Mirren.
