Ahead of England's historic Euro 2020 final, we spoke with a number of people about their favourite football matches.

Finals, semi-finals and last day relegation battles are all mentioned here.

Treble Treble

Manchester United 2 - 1 Bayern Munich. 1999 Champions League final

On the 26th May 1999, Manchester United won the Champions League in rather dramatic circumstances. They sealed an historic Treble. Ryan Thomas said: "It was the greatest night of my life. Nothing has ever come close."

Wigan Athletic 1 - 0 Manchester City. 2013 FA Cup Final

Dave Whelan's dreams had come true. Wigan Athletic have won the FA Cup. Marcus Thompson, a Wigan fan and occasional contributor, told this blog: "You grew up as a Wigan fan not expecting to ever do or win anything. Getting to the Premier League in 2005 was great but this was another level entirely."

Oldham Athletic 4 - 3 Southampton. Oldham stay in the Premier League after a dramatic final day.

Oldham are now in the fourth tier of England but they were once in the Premier League. A dramatic final day in May 1993 gave them another season in the top flight.

Celtic 6 - 2 Rangers

A memorable Old Firm match for all Celtic fans. A news report at the time said: "A breathtaking Old Firm derby finally lived up to the hype which perpetually surrounds this fixture." It featured a memorable goal from Henrik Larsson. You can watch the highlights from the match below. Sit back and enjoy Celtic fans.

England 4 - 2 West Germany. 1966 World Cup Final

The day football really came home. Brian from West London attended the match. He told us: "It was just a wonderful afternoon. I was so happy for all the players involved.

"I just can't believe it's taken us 55 years for us to reach another final!"

Arsenal 4 - 0 Everton. Arsenal clinch 1998 Premier League title in style

Wenger's first great Arsenal side sealed their first trophy in style. A 4-0 win over Everton sealed their first championship since 1991 after a dramatic battle with Manchester United. A late goal from Tony Adams put the icing on the cake.

What are the Razzies?

Outside of The Oscars, there’s an awards ceremony that aims to honour a group of films from a particular year.  The Razzies, known as the Golden Raspberry Awards, take a very different look at the film industry.  At each ceremony, there are a number of different awards. One of the more humorous awards was won by Con-Air in 1997. The film took home the award for ‘Worst Reckless Disregard for Human Life and Public Property'. Despite this award, it was also nominated for several Oscars in the same year. It’s not the only film to have been nominated for both awards. It has also happened to the Addams Family and Armageddon.   Who 'won' in 2021? The 41st edition of the Golden Raspberry Awards took place on April 24, 2021. Transfer deadline day happens twice a season and is always a crazy day.  Who can forget Dimitar Berbatov moving to Manchester United in August 2008? Or how about Mesut Özil moving to Arsenal in 2013? Dimitar Berbatov - Tottenham to Manchester United in 2008 Earlier on this dramatic deadline day, it had appeared that Manchester City were going to shatter United's hopes after they had a bid of more than 20 million pounds accepted by Tottenham. United ultimately got their man and the Bulgarian would go onto win two Premier League titles and a League Cup whilst at Old Trafford.  At the time of the transfer, one Manchester United fan said: "Rooney, Ronaldo, Tevez, Berbatov - Is there a better attacking outfit?
